We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced PHP Developer to join our team in Thiruvananthapuram. The PHP Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining web applications using PHP programming language and related technologies. Responsibilities: Web Development: Design, develop, and maintain dynamic web applications and websites using PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web technologies. Write clean, efficient, and reusable code following best practices and coding standards. Database Integration: Integrate web applications with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MariaDB. Design and optimize database schemas, queries, and data models for efficient data storage and retrieval. Backend Development: Implement server-side logic and functionality using PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter. Develop APIs and web services for seamless communication between web applications and external systems. Frontend Development: Develop responsive and user-friendly frontend interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frontend frameworks such as Vue.js, React.js, or AngularJS. Ensure cross-browser compatibility and optimize performance for improved user experience. Version Control: Collaborate with team members using version control systems such as Git or SVN. Manage code repositories, branches, and merges to ensure code integrity and collaboration efficiency. Testing and Debugging: Write unit tests and perform automated testing to validate the functionality and reliability of web applications. Debug and troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and implement solutions to resolve technical problems. Security and Compliance: Implement security measures and best practices to protect web applications from vulnerabilities and threats. Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and industry standards such as GDPR and OWASP. Documentation and Reporting: Document technical specifications, system architecture, and development processes. Prepare reports, progress updates, and status presentations for project stakeholders and management. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience as a PHP Developer or in a similar web development role. Proficiency in PHP programming language and web development technologies. Experience with PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter. Strong understanding of relational databases and SQL query optimization. Familiarity with frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frontend frameworks. Knowledge of version control systems such as Git or SVN. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
