We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Automobile Painter to join our team in Neyyattinkara. The Automobile Painter will be responsible for preparing, painting, and finishing automotive vehicles to achieve high-quality results and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities: Surface Preparation: Prepare vehicle surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming areas as needed. Remove rust, dents, and imperfections using sanding tools, putty, and body fillers. Mask and tape off areas not to be painted. Paint Mixing: Mix and match paint colors to vehicle specifications using paint mixing equipment and color charts. Adjust paint viscosity and application techniques to achieve desired color, coverage, and finish. Paint Application: Apply paint to vehicle surfaces using spray guns, brushes, or rollers, ensuring even coverage and smooth finish. Follow painting procedures and techniques to minimize overspray, drips, and other defects. Clear Coating: Apply clear coats and protective finishes to painted surfaces to enhance durability and gloss. Blend clear coats with base coats seamlessly to achieve a flawless finish and color match. Detailing: Perform detailing tasks such as wet sanding, buffing, and polishing to remove imperfections and enhance shine. Inspect painted surfaces for quality and touch up any areas as needed to ensure uniformity and consistency. Color Matching: Match paint colors to existing vehicle finishes or customer preferences using color matching tools and techniques. Ensure accurate color reproduction and consistency across panels and areas. Corrosion Treatment: Treat rusted or corroded areas on vehicle body panels using rust inhibitors, sealants, and protective coatings. Remove rust and apply corrosion-resistant products to prevent further deterioration. Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and regulations when working with paint, solvents, and chemicals. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safe work practices to prevent accidents and injuries. Requirements: Proven experience as an Automobile Painter or Automotive Refinish Technician, with a strong background in automotive painting and refinishing. Technical certification or diploma in automotive painting or a related field preferred. Proficiency in using automotive paint mixing systems, spray guns, and painting techniques. Strong color matching skills and attention to detail. Knowledge of automotive painting materials, products, and procedures. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
