We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Denter to join our team in Neyyattinkara. The Denter will be responsible for repairing and reshaping vehicle body panels to restore their structural integrity and aesthetic appearance. Responsibilities: Vehicle Inspection: Inspect damaged vehicles to assess the extent of body damage and identify areas requiring repair or replacement. Evaluate structural integrity and alignment of body panels, frames, and chassis components. Panel Repair: Repair damaged body panels using appropriate tools and techniques, such as welding, hammering, and pulling. Straighten bent or misaligned panels and remove dents, creases, and other imperfections to restore the original shape. Panel Replacement: Replace severely damaged or irreparable body panels with new or refurbished panels. Remove damaged panels using cutting and welding equipment and install replacement panels securely to the vehicle frame. Frame Straightening: Straighten and align vehicle frames and chassis components using frame straightening equipment and hydraulic tools. Measure frame dimensions and use precision instruments to ensure proper alignment and structural integrity. Surface Preparation: Prepare repaired or replaced body panels for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming surfaces. Mask and tape off adjacent areas to prevent overspray and ensure a clean paint finish. Corrosion Treatment: Treat rusted or corroded areas on vehicle body panels using rust inhibitors, sealants, and protective coatings. Remove rust and apply corrosion-resistant products to prevent further deterioration. Quality Control: Inspect repaired vehicles for quality and completeness, ensuring that all repairs meet industry standards and customer expectations. Test fit body panels, check alignment, and perform visual inspections to verify workmanship. Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and regulations when working with tools, equipment, and hazardous materials. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safe work practices to prevent accidents and injuries. Requirements: Proven experience as a Denter or Automotive Body Repair Technician, with a strong background in vehicle body repair and restoration. Technical certification or diploma in automotive body repair or a related field preferred. Proficiency in using denter tools and equipment, including welding machines, dent pullers, and hydraulic presses. Strong metalworking skills and knowledge of vehicle body construction and materials. Excellent attention to detail and precision in repairing and reshaping body panels. Ability to interpret repair manuals, blueprints, and technical diagrams.
