We are seeking a skilled and experienced AC Technician to join our team in Pathanamthitta. The AC Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing air conditioning systems to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities: Installation: Install new air conditioning systems, including split AC units, window AC units, and central air conditioning systems, according to manufacturer specifications and industry standards. Perform necessary electrical wiring, piping, and ductwork as required. Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance checks on air conditioning systems to ensure they are operating efficiently. Clean air filters, coils, and ducts, lubricate moving parts, and check refrigerant levels to prevent breakdowns and prolong equipment lifespan. Repair: Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in air conditioning systems, such as compressor failures, refrigerant leaks, and thermostat malfunctions. Perform necessary repairs and replacements of components to restore functionality. Testing and Inspection: Test newly installed or repaired air conditioning systems to ensure they are functioning correctly and meeting performance standards. Perform pressure tests, leak checks, and temperature measurements to verify system integrity. Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and regulations when working with electrical equipment and refrigerants. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safe work practices to prevent accidents and injuries. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all service calls, inspections, maintenance activities, and repairs performed on air conditioning systems. Document equipment specifications, model numbers, and warranty information for future reference. Customer Service: Interact with customers professionally and courteously, addressing any concerns or questions they may have about their air conditioning systems. Provide recommendations for system upgrades, energy-saving tips, and preventive maintenance plans. Continuing Education: Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in air conditioning installation and maintenance. Attend training sessions, workshops, and seminars to enhance technical skills and knowledge. Requirements: Proven experience as an AC Technician or HVAC Technician, with a strong background in air conditioning installation, maintenance, and repair. Technical certification or diploma in HVAC, refrigeration, or a related field preferred. Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues in air conditioning systems. Familiarity with HVAC tools, equipment, and diagnostic instruments. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
