We are currently seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our team in Ernakulam as Food and Beverage (F&B) Staff. The F&B Staff will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our guests and ensuring a memorable dining experience. Responsibilities: Customer Service: Provide friendly, efficient, and personalized service to guests, ensuring their needs are met and expectations are exceeded. Greet guests, assist with seating, and take orders accurately and promptly. Menu Knowledge: Have a thorough understanding of the menu offerings, including food and beverage options, ingredients, preparation methods, and special promotions. Make recommendations and answer any questions guests may have about the menu. Order Handling: Take food and beverage orders from guests using the POS system, ensuring accuracy and attention to special requests or dietary restrictions. Relay orders to the kitchen and bar staff promptly and monitor order status for timely delivery. Table Maintenance: Set up tables with appropriate utensils, napkins, and condiments before guests arrive. Monitor tables throughout the meal service, clearing empty plates and glassware, and resetting tables for the next guests. Food and Beverage Service: Serve food and beverages to guests with professionalism and attention to detail, ensuring correct presentation and temperature. Communicate any delays or issues with food or drinks to guests promptly and offer alternatives or solutions as needed. Upselling and Promotion: Promote additional menu items, specials, or promotions to enhance the dining experience and increase sales revenue. Encourage guests to try new dishes or beverages and provide information about featured items. Payment Processing: Present bills to guests, process payments accurately, and handle cash and credit card transactions securely. Thank guests for their patronage and invite them to return for future visits. Cleanliness and Hygiene: Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the dining area, including wiping tables, sweeping floors, and cleaning spills promptly. Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene protocols at all times. Requirements: Prior experience in a food and beverage or hospitality role preferred but not required. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Friendly and outgoing personality with a positive attitude towards guests and coworkers. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional service. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required. Basic math skills for processing orders and handling payments. Knowledge of food and beverage menus and terminology is a plus.
