Job Description: As a Tandoori Maker, your responsibilities will include: Tandoori Cooking: Expertly preparing a variety of tandoori dishes, including marinating meats, poultry, and seafood, and cooking them to perfection in the tandoor oven. Recipe Adherence: Ensuring that tandoori recipes and cooking techniques are followed accurately to maintain the authenticity and quality of dishes. Food Safety and Hygiene: Adhering to strict food safety and hygiene standards in the handling, storage, and preparation of ingredients to ensure compliance with regulations and maintain a clean and sanitary work environment. Quality Control: Monitoring the quality of ingredients, ensuring freshness, and maintaining high standards of taste, presentation, and consistency in all tandoori dishes. Team Collaboration: Collaborating effectively with other kitchen staff members, including chefs, cooks, and kitchen assistants, to coordinate food preparation and ensure smooth kitchen operations. Inventory Management: Assisting in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of tandoori ingredients, placing orders as needed, and minimizing wastage. Customer Interaction: Interacting with customers to take tandoori orders, provide information about menu items, and accommodate special requests or dietary restrictions. Requirements: Experience: Proven experience as a Tandoori Maker or Tandoor Chef in a reputable restaurant or hotel is preferred. Culinary Skills: Strong knowledge and proficiency in tandoori cooking techniques, including marination, skewering, and oven operation. Creativity: Ability to innovate and create new tandoori dishes while maintaining the authenticity of traditional recipes.
