As an Accessories Fitter, you will be responsible for installing and fitting accessories and aftermarket parts onto vehicles, including cars, motorcycles, or bicycles, according to customer specifications and requirements. Responsibilities: Accessories Installation: Install various types of accessories and aftermarket parts onto vehicles, such as car stereos, speakers, GPS systems, lighting kits, roof racks, bike carriers, and other customizations, following manufacturer instructions and safety guidelines. Customer Consultation: Consult with customers to understand their accessory needs, preferences, and budget constraints, and provide expert advice, recommendations, and options based on their requirements. Product Knowledge: Stay updated on the latest automotive accessories, parts, and technologies available in the market, and educate customers on product features, benefits, and compatibility with their vehicles. Measurement and Alignment: Measure and align accessories accurately to ensure proper fitment and alignment with vehicle specifications, using precision tools, equipment, and techniques. Customization: Customize accessories or parts as needed to meet customer preferences or special requests, including modifications, adjustments, or alterations to achieve the desired look or functionality. Quality Control: Perform quality checks and inspections on installed accessories to verify proper installation, functionality, and appearance, and address any defects or issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. Proven experience as an accessories fitter, automotive technician, or similar role. Strong mechanical aptitude and technical skills, with experience in vehicle customization and aftermarket installations. Knowledge of automotive electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and installation techniques. Attention to detail and precision in measuring, cutting, and fitting accessories. Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with customers and colleagues.
