We are seeking a talented and passionate Programming Faculty member to join our team in Kochi. The Programming Faculty will be responsible for delivering high-quality programming courses, workshops, and training sessions to students, professionals, and aspiring developers. Responsibilities: Course Delivery: Design and deliver programming courses, modules, and workshops in various programming languages, frameworks, and technologies, including but not limited to Python, Java, C++, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and SQL. Curriculum Development: Develop and update course materials, lesson plans, assignments, projects, and assessments to ensure alignment with industry standards, emerging trends, and best practices in software development. Instructional Delivery: Deliver engaging and interactive classroom instruction, lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on exercises to facilitate student learning, understanding, and mastery of programming concepts and skills. Student Engagement: Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages active participation, collaboration, and critical thinking among students, and provides opportunities for practical application of knowledge and skills. Individualized Support: Provide individualized support, guidance, and feedback to students, including mentoring, coaching, and tutoring as needed, to address learning gaps, enhance comprehension, and promote academic success. Assessment and Evaluation: Develop and administer quizzes, tests, exams, and project evaluations to assess student learning outcomes, track progress, and provide constructive feedback for improvement. Professional Development: Stay updated on current trends, technologies, and best practices in programming, software development, and education through continuous learning, professional development activities, and participation in relevant forums and communities. Industry Collaboration: Foster partnerships and collaborations with industry professionals, companies, and organizations to enhance curriculum relevance, facilitate guest lectures, industry projects, internships, and job placements for students. Academic Support: Collaborate with academic and administrative staff to support student success initiatives, address student concerns or challenges, and contribute to the overall mission and goals of the institution. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant certifications are preferred. Proven experience in programming and software development, with proficiency in multiple programming languages and technologies. Teaching experience in programming courses or related fields, preferably in a higher education or training environment. Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire students from diverse backgrounds and skill levels. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to plan, deliver, and assess course materials effectively.
