As a Branch Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations and performance of our branch in Wayanad. You will lead a team of employees, manage customer relationships, drive business growth, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record of achieving targets and delivering exceptional customer service. Responsibilities: Team Leadership: Provide leadership and direction to branch staff, including sales representatives, customer service representatives, and administrative personnel, to ensure a high level of motivation, engagement, and productivity. Sales and Business Development: Develop and implement sales strategies and initiatives to achieve branch sales targets and revenue goals, including acquiring new customers, expanding existing customer relationships, and promoting products or services. Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understand their needs and preferences, address inquiries and complaints promptly, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. Operational Management: Oversee all aspects of branch operations, including inventory management, cash handling, facilities maintenance, and compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies. Performance Monitoring: Monitor branch performance metrics, such as sales targets, revenue growth, customer satisfaction scores, and operational efficiency, and take corrective actions as needed to achieve performance goals. Staff Training and Development: Provide training, coaching, and support to branch staff to enhance their skills, knowledge, and performance, and foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the team. Financial Management: Manage branch budget and expenses, analyze financial reports and statements, identify areas for cost optimization or revenue enhancement, and ensure profitability and financial viability of the branch. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and challenges to branch operations or business continuity, implement risk mitigation strategies, and ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements. Community Engagement: Represent the branch within the local community, participate in community events, initiatives, and networking opportunities, and promote the branch's brand and reputation in the market. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, marketing, or a related field. Proven experience in a managerial role, preferably in banking, finance, retail, or a related industry. Strong leadership abilities, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve goals and deliver results. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders at all levels. Sound business acumen, analytical skills, and decision-making abilities. Knowledge of banking operations, financial products, and regulatory requirements is desirable. Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing circumstances. Proficiency in computer applications and software, including MS Office and banking systems. Knowledge of the local market and community in Wayanad is an advantage. Flexibility to work extended hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
