We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Lab Technician to join our team. The Lab Technician will be responsible for performing various laboratory tests, procedures, and analyses to support research, quality control, and scientific investigations. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in laboratory techniques, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Responsibilities: Conduct Laboratory Tests: Perform a variety of laboratory tests and experiments according to standard operating procedures (SOPs), protocols, and established methodologies. Sample Collection and Processing: Collect, receive, label, and prepare samples for analysis, ensuring proper handling, storage, and documentation throughout the process. Instrument Operation: Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, instruments, and tools, ensuring proper calibration, functionality, and safety protocols are followed. Data Analysis: Analyze test results, interpret findings, and prepare reports summarizing experimental data, observations, and conclusions for review by supervisors or researchers. Quality Control: Monitor quality control measures, standards, and procedures to ensure accuracy, precision, and reliability of laboratory tests and analyses. Documentation: Maintain accurate records, logs, and documentation of laboratory activities, test results, equipment maintenance, and inventory levels in compliance with regulatory requirements. Safety Compliance: Adhere to laboratory safety protocols, guidelines, and procedures to minimize risks, prevent accidents, and ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others. Inventory Management: Manage laboratory supplies, reagents, chemicals, and consumables, including ordering, receiving, stocking, and organizing inventory as needed. Research Support: Provide technical support and assistance to researchers, scientists, and other laboratory staff in conducting experiments, troubleshooting issues, and achieving research objectives. Compliance and Regulations: Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory standards, accreditation requirements, and industry best practices in laboratory operations and quality assurance. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, biochemistry, or a related field. Proven experience working as a lab technician or in a similar role. Strong knowledge of laboratory techniques, procedures, and safety protocols. Hands-on experience with laboratory equipment, instruments, and software. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analysis software. Knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality assurance practices.
