Electrical Engineer Job Opening in Kochi

As an Electrical Engineer at our company in Kochi, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining electrical systems and components to meet project requirements and ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations. Your technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail will be critical in delivering high-quality solutions and contributing to the success of our projects. Your duties will include but are not limited to: Design and Development: Design electrical systems, components, and equipment for new projects or modifications to existing systems, ensuring compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. Technical Analysis: Perform technical analysis, calculations, and simulations to evaluate the performance, reliability, and safety of electrical systems and components, and make recommendations for improvements or optimizations as needed. Documentation: Prepare detailed engineering drawings, schematics, specifications, and technical documentation to communicate design intent, requirements, and specifications to stakeholders, contractors, and suppliers. Project Management: Manage electrical engineering projects from concept to completion, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, resource allocation, and coordination with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery. Installation and Testing: Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems and equipment, and conduct onsite inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations. Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues, failures, or malfunctions in existing systems or equipment, and implement corrective actions or preventive maintenance measures to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant electrical codes, standards, and regulations, such as the National Electrical Code (NEC), International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC), and local building codes, throughout the design and implementation process. Safety Management: Identify and mitigate electrical hazards, risks, and safety concerns associated with electrical systems and equipment, and implement safety measures and protocols to protect personnel and property from electrical accidents or incidents. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in electrical engineering, and identify opportunities for innovation, process improvement, and cost optimization to enhance project outcomes and efficiency. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field from an accredited institution. Proven experience in electrical engineering, design, and project management, preferably in a relevant industry or sector. Strong technical skills and knowledge of electrical engineering principles, theories, and practices, with proficiency in electrical design software and tools. Familiarity with CAD software such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks for engineering design and drafting. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, clients, and stakeholders. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Professional engineer (PE) license or certification is preferred but not required.
