As an AC Technician at our company in Kannur, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and servicing air conditioning systems to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction. Your duties will include but are not limited to: Installation: Install new air conditioning systems, including split systems, window units, central AC units, and ductless mini-split systems, following manufacturer instructions and industry standards. Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning coils, replacing filters, lubricating moving parts, and inspecting electrical components, to ensure the efficient operation of AC systems and prevent breakdowns. Repairs: Diagnose and troubleshoot AC system malfunctions, such as inadequate cooling, strange noises, or leaks, and perform necessary repairs or replacements of components, such as compressors, capacitors, and refrigerant lines. Servicing: Provide regular servicing and tune-ups for AC systems to optimize performance, improve energy efficiency, and extend the lifespan of equipment. Refrigerant Handling: Handle refrigerants safely and responsibly, following EPA regulations and guidelines for proper handling, storage, and disposal of refrigerant gases. Customer Communication: Communicate with customers to understand their AC service needs, explain repair options, and provide estimates for repairs or replacements, ensuring transparency and customer satisfaction. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs performed, parts used, and other relevant information in service reports, work orders, and customer invoices. Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself, your colleagues, and our customers, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to safety guidelines.
