Job Description: As a Kitchen Helper, you will play a vital role in supporting our kitchen operations. You will assist our chefs and cooks in preparing ingredients, maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, and ensuring the smooth flow of operations during service hours. This position requires a hardworking individual who is eager to learn and contribute to our team's success. Responsibilities: Assist in food preparation tasks, such as chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and preparing sauces. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen area, including washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, and sanitizing equipment. Organize and stock kitchen inventory, including food, utensils, and equipment. Follow proper food handling and safety procedures at all times. Help with receiving and storing deliveries. Collaborate with chefs and cooks to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders. Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times. Requirements: Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate. Basic knowledge of food preparation and safety standards. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and perform physical tasks, such as standing for long periods and lifting heavy objects. Strong communication skills and a team player mentality. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Food Handler's Certificate or willingness to obtain one.
