Spray Painter, your primary responsibility is to apply automotive paint coatings to vehicles, ensuring a smooth, even finish and impeccable color matching. Key Responsibilities: Surface Preparation: Prepare vehicle surfaces for painting by sanding, masking, cleaning, and priming, ensuring a smooth and uniform substrate for paint application. Color Matching: Mix paint colors to match vehicle specifications or customer preferences, utilizing paint codes, color swatches, and tinting equipment to achieve accurate color replication. Spray Painting: Apply automotive paint coatings using spray guns, airbrushes, or paint booths, controlling spray patterns, paint thickness, and application techniques to achieve desired coverage and finish quality. Clear Coating: Apply clear coats or protective sealants to painted surfaces to enhance gloss, durability, and weather resistance, ensuring a long-lasting and professional-quality finish. Detailing: Perform detailing tasks, such as wet sanding, buffing, and polishing, to smooth out imperfections, remove orange peel, and enhance the shine and depth of the paint finish.
