We are committed to delivering exceptional design and content to our clients and readers. Position Overview: We are currently seeking a skilled Desktop Publishing (DTP) Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for detail, proficiency in DTP software, and a passion for creating visually appealing layouts. The DTP Operator will play a crucial role in the production process, ensuring that our publications meet the highest standards of quality and accuracy. Key Responsibilities: Create and format layouts for printed materials such as books, magazines, and brochures using desktop publishing software (e.g., Adobe InDesign, QuarkXPress). Work closely with editors, designers, and other team members to ensure that layout designs meet project requirements and deadlines. Typeset text, adjust fonts, and manipulate images to achieve desired visual effects while maintaining readability and consistency. Proofread and review layouts for errors in spelling, grammar, and formatting before finalizing for print. Prepare files for printing, including setting up bleeds, color separations, and other technical specifications as required. Collaborate with printers and other vendors to ensure that final output meets quality standards and production requirements. Qualifications: Proven experience as a Desktop Publishing (DTP) Operator or similar role, preferably in a publishing environment. Proficiency in desktop publishing software, particularly Adobe InDesign and/or QuarkXPress. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy under tight deadlines. Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment. Familiarity with printing processes and technical requirements for print production. Knowledge of Malayalam and English languages preferred. Diploma or certification in graphic design, desktop publishing, or related field is a plus.
