Verify prescriptions for accuracy and completeness, ensuring appropriate dosage and medication interactions. Provide counseling to patients on medication usage, side effects, and storage instructions. 2. Patient Care: Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient medication therapy and outcomes. Offer advice on over-the-counter medications and healthcare products. Address patient concerns and questions regarding medications and healthcare. 3. Pharmacy Operations: Maintain proper inventory levels of medications and supplies, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines. Oversee the storage and handling of pharmaceuticals, adhering to safety protocols and best practices. Perform medication reconciliation and review medication histories to prevent adverse drug events. 4. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and standards governing pharmacy practice. Maintain accurate records of prescription orders, patient profiles, and pharmacy transactions. Participate in quality assurance activities and audits to uphold the highest standards of pharmaceutical care. 5. Continuing Education: Stay updated on new drugs, therapies, and developments in the field of pharmacy. Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities to enhance knowledge and skills. Share knowledge with colleagues and contribute to the professional growth of the pharmacy team. Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Pharmacy from a recognized institution. Valid pharmacist license issued by the State Pharmacy Council. Strong knowledge of pharmacology, dosage calculations, and pharmaceutical regulations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail and accuracy in medication dispensing and record-keeping. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
