As a Juice Maker, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of fresh juices, smoothies, and beverages to customers in a hospitality or food service establishment. Your creativity, attention to detail, and passion for creating delicious and nutritious drinks will contribute to the overall satisfaction and enjoyment of guests. Responsibilities: Prepare a wide range of fresh juices, smoothies, and beverages according to standardized recipes and customer preferences. Wash, peel, and chop fruits and vegetables as needed for juicing, ensuring freshness and quality of ingredients. Operate juicing machines, blenders, and other equipment safely and efficiently to extract juices and blend ingredients to desired consistency. Customize drinks to accommodate dietary restrictions, preferences, and special requests from customers. Monitor inventory levels of fruits, vegetables, and other ingredients and communicate replenishment needs to management. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the juice bar area, including equipment, countertops, utensils, and storage areas. Follow proper food safety procedures, including handwashing, glove usage, and temperature monitoring, to prevent cross-contamination and ensure food safety. Clean and sanitize juicers, blenders, and other equipment after each use to maintain hygiene standards. Create attractive and appealing presentations of juices and smoothies for display to entice customers. Provide excellent customer service, including greeting guests, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly and courteously. Upsell additional menu items or promotions to increase sales and enhance the customer experience. Process payments accurately and efficiently using POS systems or cash registers. Collaborate with other staff members, including servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff, to ensure seamless coordination of service. Assist with inventory management, including stock rotation, storage organization, and minimizing waste. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including dress code, grooming standards, and safety regulations. Requirements: Previous experience as a Juice Maker, Bartender, or similar role in a hospitality or food service environment is preferred but not required. Knowledge of different fruits, vegetables, and flavor combinations for creating delicious and nutritious juices and smoothies. Ability to operate juicing machines, blenders, and other equipment safely and efficiently. Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with guests. Attention to detail and the ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately. Physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate to heavy objects. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required. Basic math skills for processing payments and handling cash transactions. Food safety certification or willingness to obtain certification is a plus. High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
