a Refrigeration Technician in Adimali, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, and servicing of refrigeration systems used in various applications, including commercial refrigeration units, industrial cold storage facilities, and air conditioning systems. Your expertise in refrigeration technology will be essential in ensuring the efficient operation and longevity of refrigeration equipment. Responsibilities: Install, commission, and test refrigeration systems, including compressors, condensers, evaporators, and piping, according to engineering specifications and safety standards. Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to identify and address potential issues, such as refrigerant leaks, compressor malfunctions, and electrical faults. Diagnose technical problems using refrigeration gauges, pressure readings, and diagnostic tools to determine root causes of equipment malfunctions. Repair or replace defective components, such as valves, thermostats, motors, and expansion valves, to restore system functionality and efficiency. Perform refrigerant recovery, evacuation, and recharging procedures in compliance with environmental regulations and industry standards. Conduct performance tests and adjustments to optimize system operation, energy efficiency, and temperature control. Collaborate with other technicians, engineers, and contractors to troubleshoot complex issues and coordinate repair activities. Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, service reports, and inventory of spare parts and supplies. Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory requirements in refrigeration and HVAC systems. Provide technical support and training to customers, operators, and maintenance staff on the operation and maintenance of refrigeration equipment. Requirements: Diploma or certification in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Technology or a related field. Proven experience as a Refrigeration Technician, preferably in a similar industry or environment. Strong technical skills and proficiency in refrigeration principles, refrigerant handling, and system troubleshooting. Knowledge of refrigeration components, systems, and controls, including HVACR equipment. Familiarity with refrigeration tools and equipment, such as pressure gauges, leak detectors, and vacuum pumps.
