We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Plumber to join our team. As a Plumber, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. Your role will involve interpreting blueprints, assembling pipes, fittings, and fixtures, and ensuring the proper functioning and safety of plumbing systems according to codes and regulations. Responsibilities: Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout and configuration of plumbing systems. Install, repair, and maintain piping systems for water supply, drainage, sewage, and heating systems. Assemble and install pipes, fittings, valves, and fixtures, including sinks, toilets, showers, and water heaters, according to building codes and industry standards. Cut, thread, and bend pipes using hand tools, power tools, and pipe-cutting machines as necessary. Test plumbing systems for leaks, blockages, and proper functioning using pressure gauges, hydrostatic testing equipment, and other testing devices. Identify and troubleshoot plumbing problems, such as leaks, clogs, and pipe corrosion, and perform repairs or replacements as needed. Install and repair plumbing fixtures, including faucets, sinks, toilets, and showers, and connect them to water supply and drainage systems. Inspect plumbing systems, components, and fixtures to identify maintenance needs, safety hazards, or code violations, and take corrective actions as necessary. Collaborate with other tradespeople, including electricians, HVAC technicians, and construction workers, to coordinate installation and ensure compatibility with other building systems. Follow safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents, injuries, and damage to property during plumbing activities. Maintain cleanliness and organization at the worksite, including cleaning up debris, disposing of waste materials, and storing tools and equipment properly. Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and hours worked on each project. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent qualification. Proven experience as a Plumber or similar role in the construction or plumbing industry. Certification or vocational training in plumbing or a related field is preferred. Strong knowledge of plumbing materials, fittings, and installation techniques. Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications. Ability to use plumbing tools and equipment effectively, including pipe cutters, wrenches, soldering torches, and drain snakes. Good mathematical skills and ability to perform measurements and calculations accurately. Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy pipes and equipment, work in confined spaces, and perform tasks at heights as needed. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Effective communication and teamwork skills. Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and overtime, as needed.
