Job Description: Design and Planning: Develop architectural designs and plans for various construction projects including residential, commercial, institutional, and governmental buildings. This involves conceptualizing, sketching, and creating detailed drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software. Project Management: Coordinate with clients, engineers, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. Manage timelines, budgets, and resources effectively to ensure timely completion of projects. Site Visits and Inspections: Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions, gather necessary data, and ensure that construction activities align with the approved designs and specifications. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with local building codes, zoning regulations, and other legal requirements. Obtain necessary permits and approvals from relevant authorities. Sustainable Design: Integrate principles of sustainable design and green building practices into architectural plans to minimize environmental impact and promote energy efficiency. Client Consultation: Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements, preferences, and budget constraints. Present design proposals, solicit feedback, and make revisions as necessary to meet client expectations. Team Collaboration: Work closely with architects, designers, engineers, and contractors to translate design concepts into built structures. Foster a collaborative work environment conducive to creativity and innovation. Research and Development: Stay updated on the latest trends, materials, and technologies in the field of architecture. Incorporate new ideas and innovations into design projects to enhance functionality and aesthetics. Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from a recognized institution. Proficiency in AutoCAD or other CAD software. Strong design sensibility and creativity. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Project management experience preferred. Knowledge of local building regulations and codes. Familiarity with sustainable design principles. Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
