We are currently seeking skilled and detail-oriented Stitching Operators to join our team in Karunagapalli. As a Stitching Operator, you will be responsible for operating industrial sewing machines to assemble fabric components and produce finished garments according to specifications. Your role will involve following patterns, adjusting machine settings, and maintaining quality standards to ensure the efficient and accurate production of stitched items. Responsibilities: Operate industrial sewing machines to stitch fabric components and assemble garments. Follow patterns, templates, or instructions to ensure accurate stitching and assembly of garments. Adjust machine settings, such as thread tension and stitch length, to achieve desired results. Select appropriate needles, threads, and sewing techniques for different types of fabric and garment styles. Monitor machine operation to detect defects or irregularities in stitching and make adjustments as needed. Perform routine maintenance on sewing machines to ensure they operate smoothly and efficiently. Inspect finished garments for quality and consistency, identifying and repairing any defects or flaws. Measure and cut fabric pieces according to patterns and specifications as needed. Collaborate with supervisors, designers, and other team members to meet production goals and deadlines. Follow safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries in the workplace. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the stitching area, including work surfaces and equipment. Keep accurate records of production output, materials usage, and machine maintenance activities. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent qualification. Proven experience as a Stitching Operator or Sewing Machine Operator in a garment manufacturing or textile industry. Proficiency in operating industrial sewing machines, including single needle, overlock, and serger machines. Knowledge of garment construction techniques, sewing methods, and fabric types. Ability to read and interpret patterns, specifications, and sewing instructions. Strong attention to detail and quality control skills. Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity. Physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy fabric rolls. Effective communication and teamwork skills. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime, as needed.
