We are currently seeking a skilled Wheel Alignment Technician to join our automotive service team in Kozhikode. As a Wheel Alignment Technician, you will be responsible for accurately assessing and adjusting the wheel alignment of vehicles to ensure proper handling, tire wear, and safety on the road. Your role will involve using specialized equipment and techniques to measure and adjust the angles of the wheels according to manufacturer specifications and industry standards. Responsibilities: Perform visual inspections of vehicle suspension and steering components to identify any signs of wear or damage. Use computerized wheel alignment equipment to measure and analyze the alignment angles of the vehicle's wheels. Interpret alignment readings and diagnose any alignment issues such as camber, caster, and toe angles that are out of specification. Adjust wheel angles using alignment equipment and specialized tools to bring them within manufacturer tolerances. Inspect and adjust tire pressure as needed to ensure even tire wear and optimal performance. Provide recommendations to customers regarding additional repairs or maintenance needed to address alignment-related issues. Educate customers on the importance of regular wheel alignment maintenance for vehicle safety and performance. Maintain accurate records of alignment measurements, adjustments, and customer information. Follow safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries in the workplace. Collaborate with other members of the automotive service team to ensure efficient workflow and customer satisfaction. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent qualification. Proven experience as a Wheel Alignment Technician or similar role in an automotive service environment. Strong knowledge of vehicle suspension and steering systems. Familiarity with computerized wheel alignment equipment and software. Ability to interpret alignment readings and make precise adjustments. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Good communication and customer service skills. Physical stamina and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime, as needed. Certification in wheel alignment or related field is a plus.
