We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant in Palakkad. The Restaurant Manager will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maximizing profitability. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences. Responsibilities: Oversee and manage all aspects of restaurant operations, including staffing, inventory management, budgeting, and customer service. Recruit, train, and supervise restaurant staff, including servers, cooks, and other support personnel. Create staff schedules, assign duties, and monitor performance to ensure efficient operation of the restaurant. Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to maintain consistency and quality in service and food preparation. Monitor and analyze restaurant performance metrics, such as sales, costs, and profitability, and take corrective action as needed to achieve financial targets. Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations, as well as health and safety standards, in accordance with local regulations. Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and timely manner, striving to resolve issues to their satisfaction. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant, including dining areas, kitchen, and restrooms, to create a welcoming and comfortable environment for guests. Collaborate with the chef and kitchen staff to develop and update menu offerings, specials, and promotions. Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to procure high-quality ingredients and supplies at competitive prices. Manage restaurant inventory levels and control costs through effective inventory management and waste reduction strategies. Develop and implement marketing and promotional activities to attract new customers and increase restaurant revenue. Stay updated on industry trends and competition, and make recommendations for improvement and innovation. Handle administrative tasks, such as payroll processing, budgeting, and financial reporting, in collaboration with the management team. Requirements: Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or similar role in the hospitality industry. Strong leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers, staff, and suppliers. Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail. Knowledge of restaurant operations, including food and beverage service, kitchen operations, and customer service best practices. Understanding of financial principles, including budgeting, cost control, and profit optimization. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required. Fluent in Malayalam; proficiency in English is an advantage. Certification or training in restaurant management or hospitality management is preferred.
