As an Automobile Body Shop Advisor, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and guidance to clients requiring automotive body repair services. You will serve as a liaison between customers and the body shop team, ensuring that customer needs are met efficiently and effectively. This role requires strong communication skills, technical knowledge of automotive body repairs, and the ability to manage customer inquiries and concerns. Responsibilities: Customer Service: Greet customers and provide a warm welcome to the body shop. Listen to customer concerns and inquiries regarding automotive body repairs, and provide accurate information and recommendations. Consultation: Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to assess damage and provide detailed explanations of repair options to customers. Offer advice on repair processes, timelines, and cost estimates. Scheduling: Coordinate appointments and allocate resources efficiently to ensure timely completion of repairs. Communicate repair timelines and updates to customers throughout the repair process. Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, keeping them informed of repair progress and addressing any concerns or questions they may have. Collaborate with the body shop team to ensure smooth workflow and resolution of issues. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, repair orders, and invoices. Ensure all paperwork is completed promptly and accurately, adhering to company policies and procedures. Quality Assurance: Inspect completed repairs to ensure they meet quality standards and customer expectations. Address any deficiencies or concerns promptly and implement corrective actions as needed. Sales Support: Recommend additional services or products to customers based on their vehicle's needs and manufacturer recommendations. Upsell relevant services such as detailing, paint protection, or maintenance packages. Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines while performing job duties. Ensure compliance with environmental and industry regulations regarding waste disposal and hazardous materials handling. Qualifications: Previous experience in automotive customer service or related field preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Technical knowledge of automotive body repairs and repair processes. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Proficiency in computer applications and automotive software systems. Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Certification or training in automotive repair or related field is a plus.
