We are seeking a skilled and friendly waiter/waitress to join our team in Punalur. As a waiter/waitress, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to our guests while ensuring a positive dining experience. You will work closely with the kitchen and bar staff to deliver orders accurately and efficiently. Responsibilities: Greet customers warmly and escort them to their tables. Present menus and answer questions about menu items, making recommendations upon request. Take accurate food and beverage orders from customers. Relay orders to the kitchen and ensure prompt delivery of food and beverages. Check in with customers to ensure satisfaction and promptly address any concerns. Upsell additional menu items, specials, and beverages. Handle cash, credit card, and electronic payment transactions accurately. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the dining area and workstations. Collaborate with other team members to provide excellent customer service. Follow all safety and sanitation procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Attend training sessions and staff meetings as required. Requirements: Previous experience as a waiter/waitress or in a similar customer service role preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Basic math skills for handling payments and making change. Knowledge of food and beverage pairings is a plus. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in hospitality or food service is a plus.
