Cleaning Supervisor Job Opening in Palakkad

We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Cleaning Supervisor to oversee our cleaning staff and operations at our establishment in Palakkad. The Cleaning Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring that all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards, while also supervising and coordinating the activities of the cleaning team. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards. Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate the activities of the cleaning staff, including assigning duties, scheduling shifts, and monitoring performance. Inspect and evaluate the cleanliness of all areas within the establishment, including dining areas, restrooms, kitchens, and common areas. Train new cleaning staff members on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and the proper use of cleaning equipment and chemicals. Ensure that cleaning tasks are completed thoroughly and efficiently, following established cleaning schedules and standards. Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, and requisition additional items as needed. Conduct regular inspections of cleaning equipment and machinery to ensure proper functioning and maintenance. Address any cleaning-related issues or complaints promptly and take corrective action as necessary. Maintain records of cleaning activities, including daily cleaning logs, inspection reports, and inventory records. Implement and enforce health and safety regulations and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for cleaning staff. Collaborate with other departments and management to address cleaning-related needs and concerns. Provide leadership, guidance, and support to the cleaning team, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Requirements: Proven experience as a Cleaning Supervisor or similar role in a commercial or hospitality setting. Strong leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Excellent knowledge of cleaning procedures, techniques, and equipment. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Malayalam; proficiency in English is an advantage. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Certification or training in cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and/or management is beneficial. Physical stamina and ability to perform cleaning tasks, including standing, bending, and lifting.
