Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and reliable Four-Wheeler Mechanic to join our service team. In this role, you will diagnose vehicle issues, perform routine maintenance, and execute complex mechanical and electrical repairs. The ideal candidate has strong problem-solving skills, hands-on experience with diagnostic tools, and a deep understanding of automotive systems.
Key Responsibilities
• Diagnostics: Use electronic diagnostic equipment to identify mechanical, electrical, and engine performance issues.
• Routine Maintenance: Perform standard servicing tasks including oil changes, tire rotations, wheel alignments, fluid top-ups, and brake inspections.
• Repairs: Fix or replace faulty parts such as brake pads, suspensions, steering linkages, fuel systems, and exhaust components.
• Engine & Transmission Work: Overhaul, repair, or replace engines, transmissions, and drive trains as needed.
• Electrical Systems: Troubleshoot and repair wiring, alternators, starters, batteries, and infotainment systems.
• Quality Assurance: Test drive vehicles before and after repairs to ensure they are safe and fully functional.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate logs of all vehicle inspections, parts used, and work performed.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of internal combustion engines, transmissions, electrical systems, and modern automotive technology.
• Diagnostic Skills: Proficiency with OBD-II scanners, multi-meters, and automotive software.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy parts, stand for long periods, and work in tight or awkward spaces.
• Certifications: A high school diploma or equivalent is required. A degree in automotive technology or ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certification is highly preferred.
• Experience: 2+ years of hands-on experience working as an auto mechanic.
• Driver's License: A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is mandatory for test-driving vehicles.
