Job Description
A receptionist serves as the primary face of an organization, managing front-desk operations, welcoming guests, and providing administrative support to ensure the office runs smoothly.
Core Responsibilities
• Front Desk & Guest Services: Welcome visitors, determine their purpose of visit, and direct them to the appropriate staff or department.
• Communications: Answer, screen, and route incoming phone calls on a multi-line system, take messages, and manage general company email inquiries.
• Office Administration: Sort and distribute daily mail, handle correspondence, maintain physical and digital filing systems, and order office supplies.
• Scheduling & Coordination: Update calendars, book meeting rooms, and arrange travel plans or appointments.
• Security & Facility Maintenance: Monitor visitor access, issue visitor badges, maintain a sign-in log, and keep the reception and waiting area neat and presentable.

• Communication: Clear, polite, and professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Customer Service: A helpful, patient, and welcoming demeanor with the ability to manage difficult interactions gracefully.
• Technical Proficiency: Experience with office software (Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Outlook) and office hardware (printers, scanners, fax machines).
• Organization: Strong multi-tasking, time-management, and prioritization abilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Discretion: Ability to handle sensitive and confidential company or client information responsibly.
Education & Experience Requirements
• Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is typically required.
• Experience: Prior customer service, retail, or hospitality experience is highly transferable and often prioritized over formal degrees.
