Job Description
A VMC (Vertical Machining Center) Operator sets up, runs, and monitors computer-controlled vertical milling machines to shape metal or plastic parts.Machine Setup: Load raw materials, position fixtures, and install cutting tools into the machine.Offsets & Controls: Set precise work and tool offsets and adjust parameters like speed and feed rate.Operation & Monitoring: Run test pieces, supervise production cycles, and check for errors or tool wear.Quality Control: Inspect finished components using precision measuring tools like vernier calipers and micrometers.
