A CNC operator sets up, runs, and maintains computer numerical control (CNC) machines to build precision parts from metal, plastic, or other materials.Set up machines: Load tools, calibrate settings, and prepare raw materials.Operate equipment: Run programs, adjust speeds, and monitor active cutting or milling.Inspect parts: Measure finished items with precision tools to check for errors.Perform maintenance: Clean equipment, refill coolant, and replace worn parts.
