An automobile tinker (body shop technician) at an automotive service provider like Sundaram Motors repairs, reshapes, and restores vehicle body panels, frames, and sheet metal back to their original factory shape after collisions or damage.Body Repair & Denting: Remove dents, bends, and damage from car body panels using hammers, dollies, and specialized dent-pulling tools.Panel Beating & Alignment: Align damaged vehicle chassis, frames, and body parts using frame straightening machines and measuring tools.Cutting & Welding: Cut away rusted or severely damaged sections of metal and weld new panels or patches using gas, MIG, or arc welding equipment.Surface Preparation: Grind, sand, and smooth repaired metal surfaces to prepare them for priming and spray painting.
