Job Description
A garment sewing machine mechanic installs, repairs, and maintains industrial sewing and production equipment to keep factory lines running with low downtime.Maintenance & Repair: Fix mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues on industrial machines like lockstitches, overlocks, and flatlocks. Preventive Care: Clean, oil, and test equipment on a regular schedule to stop unexpected breakdowns. Setup & Calibration: Adjust machine tension, stitch length, and parts to match new clothing styles and fabric types. Troubleshooting: Diagnose line stoppages quickly and replace worn gears, motors, or needles.
