Job Description
A speech therapist, or speech-language pathologist (SLP), assesses, diagnoses, and treats speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders in patients of all ages. They create custom care plans, work with families and medical teams, and help individuals improve their ability to communicate and swallow safely.
