Job Description
The Job Controller (Floor Coordinator / Workshop Controller) at SGA Tata Motors India Pvt Ltd across its Tamil Nadu branches—including Salem, Tiruchengode, Sankagiri, Vazhapady, Mettur, Erode, and Paramathi Velur—is responsible for managing the daily workflow of the service workshop, allocating cars to mechanics, tracking repair progress, and ensuring vehicles are ready for customer delivery on time. The estimated average salary for an automotive Job Controller at this level ranges from ?15,000 to ?25,000 per month (approximately ?1.8 Lakhs to ?3.0 Lakhs per annum) depending on location and experience, often complemented by performance-based incentives. Minimum 1 to 3 years of experience on an automobile dealership workshop floor. ITI, Diploma, or Degree in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering is highly preferred.
