Job Summary
The Project Engineer is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing waste management projects, including waste processing facilities, recycling plants, landfill operations, and environmental infrastructure. The role involves overseeing project design, implementation, technical supervision, and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, safety standards, and project timelines.
Key Responsibilities
• Plan, coordinate, and manage waste management projects from initiation to completion.
• Prepare project plans, schedules, technical specifications, and cost estimates.
• Supervise installation, commissioning, and operation of waste processing equipment and facilities.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, suppliers, and internal teams for project execution.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, statutory requirements, and company policies.
• Monitor project progress, budgets, and timelines, and prepare regular progress reports.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.
• Support troubleshooting, technical problem-solving, and process improvements in waste management systems.
• Assist in procurement of equipment and materials required for project implementation.
• Maintain documentation including drawings, reports, approvals, and project records.
