Job Description
An Accounts Executive / Cashier at Shenbaka Cars Pvt Ltd (an authorized Maruti Suzuki dealership in Puducherry) manages daily showroom financial transactions, billing, and basic ledger maintenance. Maintain daily cash flow, receipts, payments, and journal entries in Tally or the company’s enterprise software. Prepare customer vehicle booking receipts, sales invoices, and accessories billing. Handle showroom cash counters, daily cash balancing, and bank deposits. Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or a related finance background. Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel and Tally; good numerical and communication skills. Experience: 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in bookkeeping or accounting (automobile or retail sector experience is a plus). Typically ranges between ?1.6 Lakh to ?2.4 Lakh per year (approx. ?14,000 to ?20,000 per month) for executive-level accountants, depending on prior experience. Senior accountants at the firm can earn up to ?4 Lakh+ per annum.
