Job Description
The Polish Worker will be responsible for carrying out polishing, staining, colouring, sanding, and finishing work on wooden furniture and interior products as per the required colour, shade, finish, and quality standards. The role includes preparing surfaces through proper sanding and cleaning, applying stains, sealers, fillers, polish, paint, lacquer, PU and other finishing materials, and ensuring an even, smooth, and high-quality finish. The Polish Worker will be required to understand finish samples and specifications, identify and correct surface imperfections, maintain consistency in colour and finish across furniture pieces, handle polishing equipment and materials safely, and coordinate with carpenters and the production team to complete work within the required timelines. The employee is also responsible for minimising material wastage, maintaining cleanliness and safety in the polishing area, properly handling tools and chemicals, and ensuring that all finished products meet the company's quality standards before dispatch or installation.
