Job Description
The Plywood Carpenter will be responsible for manufacturing, assembling, and installing furniture and interior works using plywood, MDF, laminates, and other related materials as per approved drawings, measurements, and specifications. The role includes cutting, shaping, joining, drilling, edge banding, laminating, assembling, and finishing components with accuracy and attention to detail. The carpenter will be required to read and understand drawings, take accurate measurements, operate and handle carpentry tools and machinery safely, ensure proper alignment and finishing of furniture, and coordinate with the production and site teams for timely completion of work. The role also involves installing wardrobes, cabinets, kitchen units, TV units, storage units, partitions, and other customised furniture at project sites when required, while maintaining quality standards, minimising material wastage, following safety procedures, and keeping the work area clean and organised.
