Job Description
The Driver will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of furniture, materials, tools, documents, and other company items between the factory, office, project sites, vendors, suppliers, and client locations. The role includes loading and unloading materials with proper care, ensuring that furniture and products are securely packed and transported without damage, assisting the site and production teams during deliveries, and coordinating with the concerned staff regarding delivery schedules and site requirements. The Driver will be responsible for maintaining the assigned vehicle in good condition, conducting routine checks, keeping the vehicle clean, ensuring valid vehicle documents and statutory requirements, following traffic and safety regulations, and maintaining proper records of trips, fuel, and vehicle-related expenses. The Driver may also be required to assist with local purchases, material collection, banking or office-related errands, and other transportation requirements assigned by the management. Punctuality, safe driving, responsible handling of company property, good communication, and professional conduct with clients, vendors, and staff are essential for the role.
