Job Description
The Interior Designer will be responsible for understanding client requirements and developing creative, functional, and practical interior design concepts in line with the project scope, budget, and timelines. The role includes space planning, preparation of 2D drawings, elevations, furniture layouts, working drawings, 3D views and presentations, selection of materials, finishes, colours, hardware and furniture, and incorporating client feedback and revisions. The Interior Designer will coordinate with clients, architects, builders, site teams, production, procurement and other internal departments to ensure smooth execution of designs. The role will also involve site visits, taking measurements, providing design-related inputs during execution, resolving design issues, assisting with material specifications and project costing, and ensuring that approved designs are accurately implemented while maintaining the company's quality standards and project timelines. Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D software and other relevant design tools, along with good creativity, communication, coordination and attention to detail, is expected.
