Job Description
A carpenter builds, installs, and repairs building frameworks, structures, and fixtures using wood and other materials. Key duties include reading blueprints, measuring and cutting materials, and performing finish or rough carpentry. Shape wood, plastic, or drywall using hand and power tools to exact dimensions. Build floors, walls, doorframes, and roof structures.
