A computer operator manages and maintains computer hardware, software, and peripheral devices to ensure continuous system performance. Core duties include monitoring network operations, running scheduled backups, and troubleshooting technical errors. High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in a tech field is often preferred.Working knowledge of computer hardware configurations and operating systems (Windows, Linux, UNIX).
