A Loading and Unloading worker, or lumper, manages the physical movement of freight in and out of shipping containers, trucks, and warehouses. Key duties include lifting heavy items, sorting cargo, operating pallet jacks or forklifts, and verifying shipment accuracy to prevent damage or inventory loss.
