Department: Cutting Location: Tiruppur Industry: Innerwear Manufacturing Job Summary: The Cutting Helper supports the cutting department in fabric spreading, cutting preparation, and material handling activities. The role ensures smooth workflow, proper fabric handling, and assists the cutting master/operator to maintain production efficiency and quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Assist in fabric spreading on cutting tables as per marker plan Help in laying, aligning, and stacking fabrics properly Support cutting machine operators during cutting process Remove cut panels (pieces) carefully and bundle them correctly Ensure no mixing of sizes, colors, or styles while bundling Maintain cleanliness and organization in the cutting area Load and unload fabric rolls and materials Assist in numbering, tagging, and sorting of cut pieces Follow instructions from Cutting Master / Supervisor Help identify visible fabric defects and report immediately Requirements: Qualification: 10th / 12th Pass Experience: Fresher or 0–1 year experience in garment field preferred Gender: Male (preferred for material handling work) Basic understanding of garment process is an advantage Skills Required: Basic knowledge of fabric handling Ability to follow instructions properly Physically fit for standing and lifting work Attention to detail (to avoid mixing of pieces) Teamwork and discipline Working Conditions: Full-time, factory-based work Requires standing for long hours Involves manual handling of fabric rolls Benefits (if applicable): Free Food & Accommodation
