Job Description
We are hiring a Ladies Cook for our Ladies Hostel located in Ernakulam, MG Road area. The candidate will be responsible for preparing daily meals including breakfast, lunch, and dinner for hostel residents, ensuring timely service and good food quality. Duties include planning simple and healthy menus, cooking South Indian meals, maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen, managing food ingredients, and ensuring proper hygiene standards at all times. The role also involves supervising kitchen helpers, handling food storage safely, and minimizing wastage of ingredients. Candidates should have good experience in cooking for large groups, especially in hostel, mess, or catering environments. Knowledge of traditional Kerala cuisine will be an added advantage. The ideal candidate should be hygienic, disciplined, and capable of managing kitchen operations independently. Preference will be given to female candidates due to the nature of the hostel environment.
