We are hiring Cashiers for our hypermarket in Ottappalam. Both male and female candidates are welcome to apply, with preference given to candidates from Ottappalam. The selected candidate will be responsible for handling customer billing accurately and efficiently, processing cash, card, and digital payments, issuing receipts, and ensuring a smooth checkout experience. Responsibilities include maintaining the cash counter, balancing the cash drawer at the end of each shift, assisting customers with billing-related queries, and promoting ongoing offers when applicable. Candidates should have basic computer knowledge, good numerical skills, and excellent communication abilities. A friendly attitude, honesty, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment are essential. Previous cashier or retail experience is an added advantage, but freshers with a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply, as training will be provided.
