A reputed three star hotel in Thiruvananthapuram is inviting applications for the position of South Indian Chef. Both male and female candidates are welcome to apply. The selected candidate will be responsible for preparing authentic South Indian dishes such as dosa, idli, vada, appam, puttu, sambar, chutneys, and Kerala-style curries with consistent taste and quality. Duties include menu preparation support, ingredient selection, grinding and marination, maintaining traditional cooking standards, and ensuring timely service during breakfast, lunch, and dinner operations. The chef must maintain strict hygiene and food safety standards in the kitchen, properly manage stock usage, and minimize wastage. Candidates should have strong experience in South Indian cuisine, knowledge of spice balance, and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hotel environment. Teamwork, discipline, and adaptability are essential. Salary, food, and accommodation will be provided as per hotel norms.
