Accountant Job Opening in Kozhikode

We are hiring a qualified Accountant for a reputed restaurant located in Kozhikode, Kerala. The candidate can be male or female and should have strong knowledge of basic and advanced accounting practices in the hospitality sector. Responsibilities include maintaining daily accounts, managing cash and card transactions, preparing bills and invoices, tracking restaurant expenses, and updating ledger entries accurately. The accountant will also handle supplier payments, salary processing, stock and inventory-related financial records, and monthly financial reporting for management review. Coordination with kitchen and purchase departments is required to ensure proper cost control and stock reconciliation. Candidates should be proficient in accounting software such as Tally or similar systems, along with good MS Excel skills. A degree in Commerce (B.Com or equivalent) is preferred, but experienced candidates from restaurant or retail accounting backgrounds will also be considered. The ideal candidate should be honest, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure during busy restaurant operations.
