We are hiring a male South Indian Cook for our restaurant located in Kozhikode. The candidate will be responsible for preparing authentic South Indian dishes such as dosa, idli, vada, puttu, appam, sambar, rasam, chutney varieties, and other traditional items as per restaurant standards. Key duties include food preparation, cooking, maintaining taste consistency, portion control, and ensuring timely service during peak hours. The role also involves managing kitchen stock, checking ingredient quality, following proper storage methods, and minimizing food wastage. The cook must maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety in all kitchen operations. Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment and coordinate with kitchen and service staff is essential. Prior experience in South Indian cooking in restaurants or hotels is required.
