We are hiring a male Commis I for our Four Star Hotel located in Thiruvananthapuram. The candidate will be responsible for assisting senior chefs in daily kitchen operations and ensuring high standards of food preparation and hygiene. Key duties include basic and advanced food preparation tasks such as cutting, chopping, marinating, portioning, and cooking under supervision. The role also involves maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen section, organizing ingredients, following standard recipes, and ensuring proper storage of food items. The Commis I will support different kitchen sections (South Indian, North Indian, continental as assigned) and ensure timely preparation of dishes. The candidate must strictly follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation guidelines. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, learn quickly, and coordinate with senior chefs is essential. Prior experience in hotel kitchen operations is preferred.
